However, the best place to find Log Home Plans is with log home companies. They have already created plans that work well as log homes. These plans can usually be customized to meet the specific needs of customers.

Log Home Plans are generally somewhat less complex that other home plans. This is because fewer corners make for a house that is easier and less costly to build with logs. Many Log Home Floor Plans are simply four-corner home designs, with a variety of interior layouts. Many plans are of the story-and-a-half variety, which has one floor and a partial or full second story that is in what would ordinarily be the attic space under a cathedral ceiling.
